How the Jamila Line began
I have been interested in the natural healing ingredients the world has to offer my whole life. I am not an esthetician, only a concerned person who has spent a lot time reading and studying about the human body, herbs, oils, plants and other natural occurring ingredients.
The line began when I found my skin irritated by most commercial products on the market. I was spending large amounts of money on products that did not seem to do anything special for my skin. I started to create natural remedies for my family and myself and the response was overwhelming. I figured that other people were probably in the same predicament, looking for affordable natural solutions for their skin, and so the Jamila line was born.
I am a certified multi-media makeup artist and I have seen many faces over the years, most of which are in dire need of hydration. People spend a lot of money on products that often contain chemicals that block the skin from absorbing the moisture it needs. The Jamila line contains no such chemicals, it is made of natural ingredients that the skin can and will absorb easily.

All orders will be filled within 7 business days and are shipped via UPS Ground. If an item is out of stock and/or there is a wait period for it, you will be notified within 72 hours of placing your order.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
Due to the nature of the Jamila product line there are NO refunds or returns. Once an order has been placed on the website you will not be able to cancel that order.
In rare instances when products are back ordered, you may be offered a refund for only the product that is not available.
Frequently Asked Questions:
* Why do some of the creams seperate? Some of the creams will seperate due to the lack of preservatives. This can by caused by many different variables, but is easily fixed. Just stir the cream with a clean spoon. If your product needs a bit more then just a stir, empty the contents into a microwave safe glass bowl. Heat the contents for 2-5 seconds (the heating time depends on the strength of your microwave, and be sure not to overheat because the creams can overflow if too hot.) After 2-5 seconds stir the cream with a clean spoon and observe it's consistency. If it is not smooth and creamy yet, continue to heat for another 2-5 seconds and stir again. Repeat the process until the cream regains it's original consistency. Allow the product to cool completely and then spoon back into container. This process is only recommended for Smothered and Jamila Glow.
* What is your recommendation for a skin care regime? I feel that taking care of your skin is one of the most important things we can do, so I prefer a full regime. Some people do not have the time or patience for that, so here are some suggestions:

Tips & Tricks:
*Clay Masks The amount of water can added to the clay masks can be altered based on the consistency you prefer. I personally like my masks to be a little thicker so I slowly add water until I get the paste consistency that I like.
There are no preservatives in these products and therefore you may find that the clay might powder slightly as it dries because there is nothing foreign to hold it together. To avoid the light dusting you can apply the mask, wait a minute or two and then hop in the shower. Wait to rinse your face until the end of your shower (or approximately 5-15 minutes after application. As with all mask treatments, be sure to follow up with a good moisturizer.
*Applying Moisturizer Tip When applying moisturizer to your face and neck always use and upward motion. By doing so, you lift the tiny little hairs that are on skin and get the moisturizer closer to the skin so it can all be absorbed.
As an aside, the opposite is true for foundation application. Always put your foundation on in a downward motion because by NOT lifting the tiny little hairs you get a smoother more finished look.
